Love these Bibs!

Dura Bibs from Amazon
Dex Baby Dura Bibs
I did not have these exact prints on my bibs that I bought 8 years ago. But it was the same brand and I have hunted everywhere trying to find them. And I finally did it!

After trying all sorts of bibs (cloth, homemade, disposable, etc etc) I found this brand of bib at a store that closed up a few years ago (Nationwide Baby on Lincoln -- anyone remember that gem?). Anyway, the saleslady was so sweet and lovely and recommended that I try this new bib that had come to their store. So I took a look.

And then I felt them. They were thick and well made. But best part ever -- they snapped into place to create the pouch! I had spent countless hours (okay, minutes. okay, maybe only seconds) trying to get those icky, gooey crumbs out of the very corners of the bibs catchall. It always bugged me that there were crumbs that I just could not get out sometimes. (I was way more OCD about cleanliness with my first child, btw. Now, I'm running around with a baby who has dried carrots and apples stuck to his face because I had to run down to school for pick up in the middle of lunch time. Oops).

Anyway, I digress. These bibs unsnap and let you clean out all of the goop. I hose them down at the sink and let them air dry between meals. I do recommend you have at least two, though. So that while one is drying you have another one ready to go.

I heart these bibs. They were a game changer for me 8 years ago and they are a game changer for me again this time around too.

Hope you enjoy!

Still not sold - check out some of their other cute, hip bibs that I just found online. LOVE THEM!

Baby Banana Teether

Baby Banana Teether / Toothbrush
"Yes, we have no bananas. We have no bananas today!" I remember my mother singing that to us as she made us our tuna salad on ritz crackers for lunch when I was just a tot. And whenever I see this banana I sing it to my babies. ha!

Okay. Why, oh why, did this not exist with my other two kiddos?

I have bought countless teethers in my lifetime and have tried all sorts of methods (frozen washcloths, frozen peas... ). And while I will say that frozen peas at mealtimes is AWESOME.... your baby has to be 1. old enough to eat frozen peas
and 2. frozen peas are not always convenient for teething babies and/or their mommas.

That said -- here comes the yellow banana toothbrush. It's supposed to be an introduction to brushing teeth. I bought it for him to appease my guilt that I'm horrible at brushing my babies gums. Does anyone really do that?? I'm trying. So to help me I bought this yellow banana toothbrush.

Hello! It's not just a toothbrush! It is a FABULOUS teether. My little one LOVES it. He actually smiles when he sees it. I smile when I see it, too!

Do you hear me breathing a huge sigh of relief? The tension in my shoulders relaxes. The crying stops. The giggles start. I can start to breathe again and know that it will all be fine. The banana has arrived.

It's been a game changer over here. Woo hoo!!!

So I thought I'd share.

Any game changers with your babies you'd like to share?

Hope you enjoy.
